Hey Gary, That was real early 70's. The red & whit suburban: Jim Ragland was rebuilding wrecks at that time. The thing had been backed off into a trash dump, ended up on it top ( lots of tin in the top of one of those). I bought it wrecked from Jim and had a guy named Skip fix it. Came out pretty good except for the top........ The white Chevy p/u with the camper I believe belonged to the late Clyde Copley. The race car in the right lane: I'm not real sure, may be a racer named Cook from Amarillo, passed away a couple of years ago. Not sure at all. The Vega, can not remember. A mind is a terrible thing to loose............ But then I have seen quite a few cars go down that ole race track. Hope every one is well & hope to see you all soon.....Johnnie...

Also about that picture: Ever notice how much 'slimmer' every one was back then ? Not many of us can get into the old 60's & 70's dragsters and altereds now. But.......all the fast food places try to sell you twice as much as you need and you can't watch 15 minutes of TV with out 'them' trying to sell you something to eat. ........Be Well............JL..........
