Summer School has began and time to start back to class. Below is a former Ardmore Dragway runner. Tell me every thing you know about this car. For extra credit what do you know about the background in the photo.....Hint the car is one of the top 10 cars on our Ardmore Dragway top 50 list! No copying from you neighbors paper. Or you will be sent to the hall and have to deal with principal Ford. Test will be graded next week, when I will reveal the answers.

I just love this kind of stuff. It is one of the reasons that I check the message board daily. I don't know any of the answers, well maybe a few, but please keep it coming. The pics of the early pro stocks and the link to the videos was just off the hook. Tom

I'm going to guess Orange Blossom Special. If its one of the top 50 you have posted. The Stream liner Darryl had was on the Stroud parachute packing instructions for a long time. Phil's stream liner had the small front wheels. Nice looking car. Back when if it didn't move chrome it.

The car was built by Boulton Race Cars in late 81. Bob has built 100's of quality dragsters and is currently building state of the art Nostalgia dragster chassis's. If you ever need a dragster look him up. Joe and Lori Trammell campaigned the car out of Madill Ok.until 1985. Finishing as high as third in Ardmore Dragway points. Joe used a Raymond Grice injected small block Chevrolet to power the dragster to many low e.t.'s at Ardmore. The car was sold to the Dotson family were is was painted pink and became Flo Dotson's Rollin with Flo dragster. The car, crew and driver are the most photographed race team in Ardmore Dragway history. After Flow retired do to health problems the car was sold to many different owners. I last saw the car run 5 years ago a Ardmore with a yellow paint scheme and a big block Chevy. I have been told the car was ran on the sand drags ac-casually in Atoka. But clearly one of Ardmore top ten cars of all time.
Next week a new quize, Study students!
