It is once again with a heavy heart that I must pass on the
news of another Ardmore Dragway family member passing away.
Frank Reinauer was more than just a bracket racer, he was a legend. Back in the mid 60's Frank campaigned one of the first
Funny Cars in the nation the Colt 45 Mustang.
He was not only a racer at the local Oklahoma City Willowrun and
Sand Valley tracks, he was a touring pro. In the late 70's Frank came out of retirement to team up with son in law Chris Brown
to field a variety of blown and injected cars at Ardmore Dragway.
It was truly a blessing that I got to know and race with Frank over the years. He will be solely missed. Our heart and prayers go out to the family , not only did we loose a great race car driver we also lost a good friend..........God Speed Frank!
