1971 Camaro z28. This car is setup to race in electronics, no electronics, Super Street, and Hot Rod and any other class you want to. This car is a proven winner, and has paid for itself many times around. Car is all steel except 4inch cowl hood. Has a 10 gal fuel cell with two batteries in the trunk.
Mini-tubbed with A.R.T Ladder-bars and QA1 Coil overs. It has a 9inch(big bearing)braced well with 35 spline strange axles and strange center section with Motive 430 gears. This rear-end was built in the winter of 2008. Centerline Warrior wheels 15x10 but can go to a 12 if wanted. Has 29.5x10.5w tires on it. You can go about 2inch's wider on tire size. 15x4 up front with new Hoosier front runners.
All new K&R wiring throughtout the car in the winter of 2009. New K&R pro-cube delay box, new K&R switch panel. Head-lights, tail lights, brake lights all work.(Headlights are not in the car right now, I was going to get it painted this winter). Delay box is all quick released for no electronics.
Has front split bumpers and does come with a single bumper as well. Split bumpers were on the car but are off as of now for the same reason as the headlights.
Doors have been gutted, aluminum door panels and a lever handle welded to the top of the door.(stock handles are not in the car). Has one race seat in it now, and comes with another Jaz seat for the passanger side)with rollers on it). Driver seat is braced per NHRA/IHRA rules. Has two buttons on the steering wheel one Biondo Double-O button(transbrake) and one micro-switch(bump down).
Has a B&M Pro-stick shifter with B&M shift-knob with button(line-lock) and B&M shifter cable. Has floor mounted throttle pedal. Goza throttle cable assembly.
Brakes were all re-done in the 2008 season. New front/Rear everything(has front disk/rear drum), new master cylinder and brakes work excellent.
12 point cage(red) it is not certified but I was told it can. I have not needed it certified up to this point in time. Lexan windows all the way around
Aluminum dash with 4 gauge spots(3 gauges in car now oil, water, volt meter) all gauges are Autometer Sport-Comp II's. Also an Autometer Sport-comp II recall tach(10,000rpm) and shift light. Dash is covered by black carpet. I have a golf cart/Nascar mirror(goes all the way across the roof) in it to help see the entire track. Fan inside(it gets hot in Texas)
The only thing this car needs is paint. The racing aspect was more important than the car show aspect I was planning on getting the car painted this winter but I found another car I want.
I am trying to sell this car as a roller(preferrably). I will however sell it with a glide. I will also sell the car TK(Minus carb) with a sbc 355 running 6.80s. Radiator and fan assembly are seperate for $150(new radiator last winter 24x16 griffin radiator with a 12inch 10blade fan. Car won't ever get hot)
Roller-$6500 Roller with trans-$7500 TK-$9500
I have tons of pictures of this car just ask and you shall receive. 214-796-8977
This car cannot leave my hands until after Thanksgiving as I have a race that weekend. A deposit can be put on the car for $500 and I will pull the add. I just cannot miss that race as I am already pre-registered.
